I'm Chris Manna, a computer engineer. Motivated by the ideals of Solarpunk, I aim to develop technology that fosters a society where humanity thrives in harmony with nature, living fulfilling lives alongside it, rather than in competition with it. This is a website designed by me to give people a glimpse into my life, both professionally and personally.
I currently work on climate data infrastructure and pipelines, transforming raw environmental data into something readable, meaningful, and useful. Eventually, I hope to bring my background in embedded systems and IoT to create real-time sensor networks that help us listen to the natural world we're a part of and learn from it.
Outside of engineering, I love the outdoors. I am an avid snowboarder, surfer, and hiker. Whenever I have the chance, you'll find me heading to the mountains or beach. Check out my play section to see some of my various adventures!
